Leqqett's Ends Their Regular Season with a Win 7-3 over Triton. This was a close game with Leqqett's jumping out to an early 3-0 lead. Barry Davis singled, Dylan Tarlowe, playing in his last game, also singled. The next batter reached on error that scored one run. Jim Halpin(4-4) singled in the 2nd run. The last run scored on a fielder's choice and Leqqett's is up 3-0. Neither team scored till the 3rd when Triton gets singles by Eric Rosenberg, Andy Reiser and Derek Margiotta who drove in Triton's first run. In the 4th Triton ties the game after Ralph Aiello walked and Vince Wolleon(3-3) tripled and scored on a single by Mug Naveendra. Leqqett's gets one in the 5th when Dylan Tarlowe(3-4) doubled down the right field line and scored on a single by Jim Halpin. Leqqett's is up 4-3. In the top of the 6th Ken Horan singled with one out. John Petrozzino singled and Ken took off for third. John advanced to 2nd on the throw which turned into a big play because the next batter grounded to second and it would have been an inning ending double play. Instead it turns into a run scoring fielder's choice and Leqqetts gets 3 more singles by Rob Guibert, Barry Davis and Dylan Tarlowe to score runs 6 and 7. Triton couldn't turn their lineup over in the last two innings and pickup their 12th loss of the season while Leqqett's ends their regular season with their 12th win. Dylan Tarlowe, the suprise of this year's draft, ended his rookie season with a 574 average, 9 Homeruns and 41 RBI's (2nd in the league).
