BAR A Rakes In Another Victory and a Guaranteed Spot in the Playoffs. Bar A and Headliners both had about the same number of hits in this game, the difference was that Bar A's, 2,3,4,5 batters had most of theirs and lead off batter Pete DeFrank walked twice and scored both times. Ralph Fariello was 2 for 4 with another OBE (On By Error). Ralph is currently leading the league in OBE's in case you haven't noticed. Jon Weiner was 3-4 with 3 RBI's, Ryan Goodrich 2-4 with 2 RBI's and Mark Fedele, who's 3 game average was 818 moved up to the 5 spot and had another good day. Mark was 2-4 with 2 more Ribbies. The rest of BarA's lineup combined for just 3 of BarA's 13 hits. For the Headliner's, leadoff batter John Boeckel tried to carry the team, going 4-4 but the guys following him, David Plishka was 1-2 and had to leave early. Lou Coppa was 2-3 but the middle was cold and only Ken O'Brien, batting 10th had more than one hit. With the win Bar A gets their 11th win which guarantees them a playoff birth.
