It Was Over Before it Started. The Medigans exploded in the 1st inning with 10 runs off 12 hits. Criag Engelhardt singled past the gimpy short stop, Jessee Ferro hit his first of 2 doubles in the the inning and Jason Crimmins blooped a single to drive in the first run. Nick Adams tripled to score 2 more and the Medigans were rolling. Greg Esperson hit what looked liked a gapper but Christian Hansen made a diving catch which impressed the fans. Seven hits later the inning ended with the Medigans up 10-0 and it could have been more. The Rat Pack need 2 subs today and the Rat signal went out to the league asking for help. The Medigans took advantage of the gaps and cruised to an easy 20-2 win. 5 Medigans had 3 hits including Jesse Ferro, Nick Adams, Tony Garrett, Greg Esperson and Jason Hamberger. For the Rats Christian Hansen, Frank Coppola and Tom Schur all went 2-3 in the loss. Bob Fass had both of their RBIs in the 4th after Tom Schur singled and Sub Clay hit a wooden bat double. The Medigans play tomorrow against the Winter Hill Gang so we will see if this team is ready to make a playoff run.
