Johnny Dangerously Sends the Rats Packing with 16-11 Win. Both teams were fielding 9 players so there were lots of outfield gaps today. The Rat Pack picked up 4 runs in the 1st after Curt Heim doubled, Christian Hansen walked and a run scores on a fielder's choice. Jared Bruno doubled to plate 2 more and Bruce Dostal singled home Jared. The lead didn't last long as Johnny Dangerously exploiting the games in the bottom for 8 quick runs. Barry Davis(4-5) singled, Rick Beyer(4-5)singled, Brian Guatta doubled in one. Joe Giordano(4-5) doubled in another and Casey Nix(3-4) singled in two to tie the score. Kevin Zabransky singled and with one out Deron Green(4-5) singled, Temple Houston singled and the order turns over. Barry Davis singled again to give JD the lead and Rick Beyer doubled plating 3 more runs. The Rat Pack put up a fight but couldn't get out of the cage. They drop to JD 16-11. Jared Bruno led the Rats with a 3-3 day and 4 RBIs. Curt Heim was 4-5, and Bruce Dostal was 3-4 with 3 RBIs. The highlight of the game was Bruce Dostal turning a difficult 1-5-4 double play.
