The Irishman Knock Off the Short Handed Medigans, 15-0. The Irishman get one step closer to clinching the 1 seed with a quick victory against the Medigans. The Medigans were missing their 1st two draft picks and there was even a rumor that one is done for the year. Good guy Jim Morris allowed the Medigans to play Saturday because they were short on Thursday night but they still only had 9 with many guys playing out of position. Things started bad for the Medigans and didn't get much better as Ralph Fariello led off with a fly to right that was lost in the sun. After the inning ended the Irish were up 10-0. Ralph Fariello had an amazing day going 4-4 in the first game and 5-5 in the 2nd. Ryan Smith and Don Trifari both were 3-4 while Steve Deblasio, Ralph Aiello and Alex Lieberman were all 2-3. For the Medigans Nick Adams was 2-2. The Medigans still have a shot for the playoffs but they will need to beat Johnny Dangerously twice and Johnny Cakes and still may need some help.
