Iron Pigs Rule the Farm with a 14-7 Win Over the 1st Place Goats. Chuck Puleo's Pigs are showing plenty of porkers in the lineup and are ready for the slaughter. John Boeckel singled to start the game followed by a Jon "Weaner" single that scored John. Brad Hartung doubled and Frank McNally sacked in a run. Jim Halpin's texas leaguer dropped in and the Pigs are up 3-0. The Pigs get sloppy in the 2nd with 3 errors and Eric Stivers singles to tie the score. Jigar Desai hit a sac fly to give the Goats their only "breif" lead, 4-3. This Pig lineup is stacked and Chuck Puleo(2-3), batting 8th, leads off with a double, Greg Kohn(3-4) singled and Mike Heisheimer singled to tie the game. Boeckel singled again, Weaner walked in a run and Frank McNally singled in two more and the Pigs are up 7-4 and never looked back. Frank McNally was 3-3 with a sac and 4 RBIs, while Brad Hartung and Greg Kohn were both 3-4. The Goats were missing their shortstop and only Tony Garrett, Ryan Goodrich and Fred Heismeyer had two hits. Looks like the only thing that can stop these Pigs from devouring the league is their vacation homes. Is anybody ready for some Canadian Bacon?
