RJ Leonard's 6 RBIs Help the Pats Burn the Bacon 13-2. Macon started the game with lead off batter Mike Fardo singling up the middle. After a fielder's choice Jason Crimmins doubled to right. With 2nd and 3rd, one out, Ken O'Brien tried to score on an infield ground ball but was gunned down at the plate. Macon doesn't score. Bret Hartman reached on error and John Petrozzino(3-4) doubled. After an infield out RJ Leonard singled to score two runs. The ball was thrown away and RJ moves to 3rd and scored on an infield out by Lou Coppa. Pats take a 3-0 lead after 1. In the 3rd Macon gets a lead off single by RIch Fardo and a double by Brian Guatta who arrived late. Ken O'Brien picks up a sac fly and Jason Crimmins singles in run #2. Macon cuts the lead to 3-2 but that's all the Bacon that Macon would produce on the night. The Pats RJ Leonard continues to produce runs. In the bottom of the 3rd John Petrozzino led off with a single and scored on another RJ leonard double. Lou Coppa walked, Mike Bedell singled and Tom Schur came through with a single to score one. And the Pats kept rolling to an easy 13-2 win.
