It Ain't Defeat it's DeFrank. Maynard's kept Bar A close till the top of the 7th when Bar A's bottom, Chris Stappas and Mike Levine got the inning started with two hits. Lead off batter Pete DeFrank connected again with his 4th hit of the night and the two lefty's Jon Weiner and Tom Baginsky both had some big hits. But the biggest hit of the night came in the 5th inning with two outs. Bar A had a two run lead and Manyard's elects to walk Mike Masella to load the bases. Pitcher Dave Richman comes through with a big two run single to put Bar A up 7-3 and gets 3 high fives after he reaches 1st. Chris Stappas continues to hit the ball well for Bar A with a 3-4 night. He's got the Metzy grunt going too. For Manyard's Brian Cass and Mike Citron both had two hits.
